LaGuardia Airport has really changed over the years. From being one of the absolute worst experiences in the US to being one of the nicer airports. Nothing shows that better than the Delta Skyclub at LGA. Delta has invested a ton of money into the new LGA Terminal C including the all new Skyclub.

The LGA Skyclub is one of the best in the whole Delta system, it’s not my outright favorite, that belongs to the HND Skyclub(Full Review Here), but I think LGA is in the 2nd/3rd position. I’d have a tough time choosing between LGA and SLC for runner up(Full SLC Skyclub Review Here). The LGA Skyclub has one of my favorite lounge features, an outdoor space.

Bottom Line: With a solid buffet, well stocked bar, and outdoor Skydeck to watch planes, LGA is a great Skyclub. Just watch out for bad weather days and delays, the lounge will be very crowded if that occurs.

LGA Delta Skyclub Location

Delta Skyclub LGA Location

The LGA Skyclub is located in Terminal C, this terminal is used exclusively by Delta and their partners. The lounge is located near the security check point area between the 70 and 80 gate piers. There’s plenty of signage to direct you towards the Skyclub.

Delta Skyclub LGA Entrance

The entrance and check in desk are on the departure level, but the Dkyclub itself is on the next floor up. So after accessing the club you’ll go up the escalator into the lounge space.

The LGA Skyclub is huge and because it’s up on the top floor, there are window views from almost every area of the lounge. This area is to the left as you walk off the escalator.

Delta Skyclub LGA Space and Seating

Like most supersized lounges, there are different areas broken up mostly with furniture and partition walls. There’s also a ton of different types of seating. sofas, lounge chairs, low and high top tables, and bar seating. This area is forward and to the left from the entrance.

Continuing into the lounge you can see some kinda unique chairs. Not sure how functional those are. Seems more like form over function but that’s just my opinion. At least they have little tables and everywhere had outlets to charge devices.

Further down into the lounge there is this area that feels more like bistro seating. Would be a good spot to get something to eat or work a little bit on a computer.

This is about the furthest part of the lounge before it dog-legs towards the outdoor skydeck. As you can see, more seating with great views. The main bar and buffet is behind me in this photo.

Looking back towards the entrance. The bulk of the seating is on the right, the bar and buffet are on the left, the Skydeck is behind me and towards the windows.

LGA Delta Skyclub Buffet

Delta Skyclub LGA Buffet

These larger Skyclubs have upped their game when it comes to the food offered on the buffet. The LGA Skyclub is no different. There’s a good selection of both hot and cold options. You could make a full meal out of this pretty easily, but there’s not really “main” dishes.

I thought this was kinda funny. A “Turkey Sando” is a kinda cute name, I don’t much like turkey though.

LGA Delta Skyclub Main Bar and Drinks

Next to the buffet, there is the main Delta Skyclub Bar. This area has more seating along with a fully stocked and staffed bar.

On the other side of the buffet there is a self service drinks area with coffee and other soft drinks.

Just near of the doors to the outdoor Skydeck, there is another fully stocked bar. I really didn’t see a difference in what was offered between the smaller and main bar.

LGA Delta Skyclub Outdoor Skydeck

This is my favorite part of the LGA Delta Skyclub. I love when I can sit outside at an airport, it’s just a nice break from the rest of the experience. While not fully outdoors, the roof is retractable and with all of the glass, really gives it that feeling of outdoors.

I just wanted some snacks on my last visit so I had some cheese, salami, and crackers. I also had a nice Blue Point Lager Beer alongside.

LGA Delta Skyclub Final Thoughts

The new LGA Terminal C is great and the Skyclub is very fitting of the space. The Lounge is large, clean, comfortable, and with great drinks and solid snacks. I especially love being able to sit on the Skydeck and watch some planes while enjoying a nice beer.

The only downside is that the Skyclub here at LGA can be very crowded during peak hours or when there are large delays like those due to weather.

If you have the ability and time, the Skyclub is worth the visit.
