Earlier this year(2025) Delta opened a brand new Skyclub in the D Concourse here at ATL. I had a chance to visit it during it’s grand opening week and really liked what I saw. The space is large, clean, and open. There’s lots of seating areas, the bar is well stocked, and the buffet is a step up from what you’d find at most Skyclubs. I’m not sure it’s my favorite Skyclub here(ATL Concourse F Delta Skyclub Review) , but I’m not going to take the train all the way to the F Concourse when the D club is right in the middle.
Bottom Line: The Delta Skyclub here in Concourse D at ATL is great and is certianly worth the visit. I just wish it had an outdoor area, that would make it the best Skyclub here in Atlanta.
ATL Concourse D Skyclub Location

The Concourse D Skyclub is located in the center of the concourse, in the central food court. If you arrive into the D Concourse via the escalators from the plane train, you’ll only have a few steps to walk to the entrance. When I arrived it was the opening week so don’t expect balloons every time.
Delta Skyclub Entrance Requirements
Delta’s Skyclub rules are published but there is always confusion because they are too complex in my opinion. I entered today using my Amex Platinum.
Broadly, some ground rules apply. You must be flying with Delta or a partner that day. You also must not be flying in Basic Economy. Beyond that, you must qualify with one of the following:
- Be a Skyclub Member
- Fly in Delta One or a Partner’s Business Class
- Hold Delta Gold, Platinum, or Diamond Medalion and fly an International flight in Premium Select or Higher.
- Use an Amex Platinum or Delta Reserve Amex visit.
- Hold Skyteam Elite Plus Status and be traveling on an international flight.
ATL Concourse D Skyclub Space

The Delta Skyclub in the D Concourse is huge. Unlike the one in the B Concourse, this one is broken up into smaller spaces and just seems nicer. I’ve disliked the B Skyclub for a while.

There’s lots of seating options and large windows that overlook the planes outside. Delta has also tinted the windows so that there’s not a ton of glare or heat from the Georgia sun.

The lounge is large and because it’s above the terminal, the higher vantage point is pretty fun.

The Concourse D Skyclub spans the width of the concourse so you can see both sides from the windows. You can also see the diversity of chairs. Lounge chairs, bistro tables, bar top, sofas, etc all with nearby power outlets.

Again more seating. To my left is the main bar area. In the back is the buffet. Scattered around there are self service soft drink stations with soda, coffee, and tea.
ATL Concourse D Skyclub Bar

The large bar in the center of the Skyclub is the focal point of the lounge. They offer the standard Skyclub selection with a few local options. There is a complimentary menu and then an expanded paid list of drinks.
ATL Concourse D Skyclub Food and Buffet

The food selection is better than you’d find at most Skyclubs, and there’s certainly enough to make into a meal here with hot and cold options.

The buffet itself is in the back of the Skyclub. A nice little upgrade is the real plates and silverware.

There’s hot and cold options provided.

Delta SkyClub ATL Concourse D Final Thoughts
I really like the new Skyclub that Delta has added to the D concourse here at ATL. The lounge is huge and has lots of space to relax. There’s plenty of different types of seating depending on what you like. The buffet is well stocked and kept clean while the bar has a good selection of complimentary items. If you have access to the Skyclub, the D Concourse option is great, especially if you don’t want to hike all the way down to the F concourse.
