This was a completely unplanned review of the Moxy hotel here at the Linate Airport. Due to our denied boarding on ITA in London we’re running a day behind on our vacation. That’s going to have some knock down effects later down the line, but we’ll deal with that later.

We picked up our rental car at Linate and instead of heading right to Verona, we’re going to crash here for the night then head out in the morning. We’re tired, it’s late, and I don’t feel like driving for a few hours. We booked this hotel as we’ve stayed at Moxy hotels in the past and had good experiences.

Moxy Linate Airport Hotel Location

The Moxy Linate is very close to the LIN Airport. That’s why we picked it, that and the rate for the evening was less than 90EUR for the evening. They also have parking available, we actually booked the hotel from just outside of the parking lot.

Moxy Milan Linate Hotel Lobby and Check-in

Moxy Linate Airport Hotel Lobby

The lobby of the Moxy Linate is very trendy. There is a bar and small cafe area right next to the check in desk. Val liked the giant teddy bear on the sofa. They serve breakfast in this area in the morning, we didn’t partake.

Opposite of the check in counter was a small sitting area. The elevators are also on this side of the building. When we checked in we got a few beers from the cold case. We’re tired and wanted to just relax and get cleaned up in the room.

The hallways at the Moxy Linate are exactly on brand for the hotel. Lots of colors and trendy. I kinda like it.

Moxy Milan Linate Hotel Rooms

Moxy Linate Airport Hotel Room

We walked into our room at the Moxy Linate and we’re very pleased. It’s not a huge room, but it’s more than adequate for the one night that we’ll be here in Milan Linate. The room has a very modern design, it matches the rest of the hotel very well.

Moxy Linate Airport Hotel Room

The room had a nice technology setup in a trendy box. There was regular TV and the ability to cast a phone to the TV. I liked the glass tables that were near the TV and bed. There were plenty of outlets to charge our devices.

The room at lots of lights, it was nice but lots of switches. We were constantly turning on and off the wrong switches. Those were the beers we got in the lobby, nice to just decompress after a pretty shitty travel day.

Moxy Linate Airport Hotel Room Closet

There was a little closet area that could be used to hang items. We didn’t really unpack, just enough stuff to get us through the night.

We hung our jackets on the wall near the door. I’m a big fan of hotels with lots of wall hooks.

Moxy Milan Linate Hotel Bathrooms

The bathroom at the Moxy Linate was small but very clean. I like the thermostatic valve in the shower.

Lots of tile in the bathroom, it was also well stocked with towels and toiletries.

Like the rest of Italy, always a bidet and regular toilet.

Ok, this is where things get very meh. The view of the Moxy Linate isn’t great. It’s a parking lot, it’s a discount airport parking lot.

Moxy Milan Linate Final Thoughts

The Moxy Linate is a nice little airport hotel. It’s obviously not a destination, it’s a place to crash after a late flight or before an early one.

The staff was incredibly friendly when we were checking in and out. I enjoyed the public areas even if we didn’t eat or drink there.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and just what we needed. I’d gladly stay here again if I needed a quick overnight.
