For the last few days of our Scandinavian trip we’re back in Copenhagen. We chose to stay at the 25 Hours Hotel in Copenhagen for this portion of the stay. Just over a week ago we stayed at the fantastic 71 Nyhavn Hotel just a few minutes from the 25 Hours Hotel here in Copenhagen.
I chose the 25 Hours Hotel mostly by location. When traveling, location is my primary concern and the 25 Hotel was perfect. I also liked the unique and funky styling of some of the pictures I saw of the hotel’s interior. When we arrived I was really glad I chose the 25 Hours Hotel.
Bottom Line: 25 Hours Hotel in Copenhagen has a funny name, but it’s a great place to stay. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was really friendly and the 25 Hours had some quirky features that both Val and I really enjoyed. I was also really impressed with the 25 hours for the price we paid, we didn’t get to explore the whole hotel and everything it had to offer, but I would highly recommend it.

25 Hours Hotel Copenhagen Location
The 25 Hours Hotel in Copenhagen is a great location. It’s right in the city center and has great links to the cities metro. You can get to the Copenhagen Central Station or airport very quickly. It’s also a great location if you want to explore Copenhagen on bike or foot. We chose to do both!
25 Hours Hotel Copenhagen Exterior and Check-in

We arrived to the 25 Hours at night after our train right into Copenhagen from Stockholm. Copenhagen is a pretty city at night, especially the bikes riding around in the darkness, it’s very fun.

Inside the 25 Hours Hotel we made our way past the bar and to the front desk. The friendly desk clerk told us about the hotel and welcomed us back to Copenhagen. We were quickly checked in and headed to the elevator up to our room.

We made our way to our floor, I was surprised at how large the 25 Hours Hotel was for being in the middle of Copenhagen. The building doesn’t look that large from the outside. We had a nice quiet room away from the elevator.
25 Hours Hotel Copenhagen Room Review

We walked into our room at The 25 Hours and I was really impressed. The room was really spacious and very clean. Ahead is the bed, to the right is the toilet and shower. There’s not really a separate bathroom here, it’s all one room.

The bed was a king size and very soft. A littler softer than I like but Val loved it. Both sides of the bed had their own reading lamps along with power to charge devices. There’s also light switches to control the room lighting.

In the corner of the room was a small sitting area with a chair and table. Like with most places, this just turned into a luggage rack during our stay.

Near the front of the room was a closet area with plenty of hangers. On the shelf were a few books, the room has a Charles Darwin theme and a copy of his book The Voyage of the Beagle along with an old school ViewMaster!
25 Hours Hotel Copenhagen Minibar

The 25 Hours Hotel had a small mini-bar. It was inside the small cabinet to the right of the closet. Best of all, everything was included with the room. We didn’t try everything, just had the beers as a night cap.
25 Hours Hotel Copenhagen Bathroom

The bathroom at the 25 Hours Hotel was a little different than what you’d expect. It’s not really a separate space, it’s just in the bed room. Not a big deal when traveling with a significant other, but I wouldn’t want to stay here with my brother or cousin. Not quite enough privacy for that.

The toilet did have it’s own private area.

The shower at the 25 Hours is not private. Just 2 glass walls so very little is left to the imagination. Seems like this is becoming more common, it’s probably not an issue for 99% of travelers.

A great feature of the 25 Hours Hotel Bathroom is the heated floor. All that tile in the bathroom area is nice and warm with the push of a button. A welcome feature on the cold November Danish days.
25 Hours Hotel Room View

The 25 Hours Hotel has what they call a “Secret Garden.” It’s a private interior courtyard for hotel guests to enjoy. I bet in the summer it’s a very popular hangout, but in the winter it’s not that enticing.
25 Hours Hotel Copenhagen Bar

The 25 Hours Hotel had this cool circular bar right at the entrance to the hotel. In the evenings it was busy with people. We didn’t get any drinks here as we’re not big hotel bar drinkers, but I could see tying one on here at the end of the night.
25 Hours Hotel Copenhagen Music Room

Right off the 25 Hours Hotel lobby was a record library room. At first I thought this was a little cheesy and a bit of a gimmick but one night(after a few beverages) we decided to check it out when we got back to the hotel.

The vinyl selection wasn’t great, mostly crap to be honest, but we finally found something worth listening. Led Zeppelin 2 is a great album, not as good as Led Zeppelin 1 or 4, but it’s more than good enough for the mood.

The music room here at the 25 Hours had a record player. The needle wasn’t broken and everything worked just fine.

We grabbed a bean bag chair and relaxed. Zeppelin 2 only has 8 tracks so we burned though that pretty quickly. I tried to find another good album but just kept coming up empty.

We enjoyed the wall art. The 25 Hours is very trendy without trying too hard. It’s a little hip and silly, but it’s fun.

Across the hall from the music room was a library room. We didn’t spend any time in here but it also looked like a nice cozy hangout spot.
25 Hours Hotel Copenhagen Typewriter Bank

Ok, so this is a little cheesy, but the 25 Hours Hotel has a bank of typewriters in the lobby. I did try to type out a little bit of this review, but the ribbon broke on the typewriter.
25 Hours Hotel Copenhagen Final Thoughts
We seriously loved our stay at the 25 Hours in Copenhagen. The hotel location was great right in the city center of Copenhagen. Getting here on the metro was easy from the airport or the central station.
The rooms at the 25 Hours were spacious and clean. They had all the amenities and features you’d expect include heated floors and a free in room mini-bar. The bathroom arrangement is just fine for a solo traveler or a couple who doesn’t mind being a little more intimate. There’s no real privacy for someone showering so just something to keep in mind if you’re coming to the 25 Hours hotel.
The lobby had a bar, library room, music room, and even typewriters. Sure, it’s a little dorky but it was fun. All in, the 25 Hours Hotel is solid. I would certainly stay here again.
