In continuing my trip to Québec, I’ll be staying at and reviewing the Holiday Inn Montreal Longueuil. I chose this hotel because it’s somewhat near where I’ll be working this week. I booked this trip very last minute so I had to take whatever I could get.
When booking hotels I usually check out other reviews on sources like Google and Trip Adviser. I check for some blog sources too, but let’s be honest, no one else is reviewing kinda boring hotels like the Holiday Inn Longueuil. This hotel had good reviews and was close enough to where I needed to be so I went with it. Anyway, let’s get into this review.
Holiday Inn Montreal-Longueuil Location

The Holiday Inn is not on the island of Montreal, it’s across the river in Longueuil. While this area isn’t walkable, it’s not far from the small Old Longueuil district that has lots of little shops and restaurants. It’s certainly worth the time and effort to check out the bars in this area, lots of good little places.
Holiday Inn Montreal-Longueuil Lobby and Public Areas

I walked into the Holiday Inn and checked in at the front desk. This is an older hotel building but from the lobby, has been well maintained and updated.

The lobby is a large open atrium with twin elevators, a large bar area, restaurant, and even a plane slung from the ceiling. It’s a very nice space.
Holiday Inn Montreal-Longueuil 2 Queen Room Review

Because of my last minute reservation, I ended up with a 2 bed room, no big deal. The view walking in was promising. A nice large space with good looking and updated beds.

This is an adjoining room and that’s a bummer, but there was a mirror, hooks for hanging coats, and a small luggage rack to the left.

In the middle of the room is a small Keurig Coffee station along with a fridge. Perfect for leftovers and keeping a water bottle cold.

There’s a nice large TV and chest of drawers opposite of the beds. There’s also a desk in the corner by the window. I got lots of use out of this while here for work.

There’s a closet area near the room entrance. I didn’t use this during the trip, I just wore slightly wrinkled shirts…

The beds were very comfortable in my opinion. In the center of the room, between the two beds were plenty of outlets and an alarm clock. Over head on each side of the bed were reading lights too, I like that touch.
Holiday Inn Montreal-Longueuil Bathroom Review

Not much out of the ordinary in the bathroom here at the Holiday Inn Longueuil. It was clean and well stocked.

I do wish the shower was not at tub, but it was very clean so I can’t complain.
Holiday Inn Montreal-Longueuil Room View

The view from the room isn’t amazing, it’s a suburban hotel on the outskirts of Montreal. But it’s at least a nice clear day.
Holiday Inn Montreal-Longueuil Final Thoughts
The Holiday Inn Montreal Longueuil is a good hotel for a few nights if you need to visit this area. It’s just not really in Montreal as it’s across the river. I enjoyed the large lobby area and clean rooms. The beds were very comfortable and just what I needed during this trip.
I ended up staying here for 2 nights, and there’s plenty of cute little restaurants in the nearby area of Old Longueuil. I didn’t try the onsite restaurant or bar, but they seemed very lively in the evenings. I was glad that the noise didn’t permeate the rooms though.
At the end of the day I’d gladly say here again. Just one note, there’s very little parking in-front of the hotel but there’s a very large lot outback so using the rear entrance will become common.
