While flying out of Cleveland(Delta A320 First Class Review), Val and I had a little time to kill so we went to The Club Lounge CLE. Usually I skip “The Club” as they are often pretty terrible, the worst lounge in the US is The Club ATL, but I figured we’re here, might as well just poke our heads in. Turns out, I was wrong, The Club CLE is worth the visit. The bar is solid, the small space wasn’t super crowded, the view was nice, and the staff was friendly. On the other hand the buffet was pretty bad.

Bottom Line: The Club CLE is a decent little lounge. I wouldn’t arrive any earlier than needed, but if you have an hour to kill before a flight, it’s worth the visit. The buffet sucks but there’s free beer. Good enough.

The Club CLE Location

The Club CLE location

The Club here at CLE is located right at the entrance to the B concourse. After passing security, head to the B Concourse, this in the area where Delta’s gates are, there are lots of signs directing you to the lounge entrance.

The Club CLE Entrance

The lounge entrance is down a small hall and to the left. The Club CLE allows you to enter 3 hours before your departure. They accept Priority Pass along with sell day passes for $50.

The Club CLE Space

The Club CLE Bar

The Club at CLE is not a large lounge, it’s a L shaped space. When you first walk in, there’s the bar area and this is the largest space. At the end, along the windows is the buffet. Down on the right there is a sitting area.

Looking back at the entrance and bar.

The Club CLE Seating

The small sitting area in the back makes up the entire lounge. Like I said, pretty small space. When we visited the lounge was busy, but not full. We were able to easily get to seats at the bar.

The Club CLE Bar and Drinks

The Club CLE Bar

The bar at the CLE Club Lounge is good enough. They had a couple local beers on draft along with wine and liquor. Most is included but there are some buy up options if you want something a little more premium.

The Club CLE Bar And Drinks

At the end of the bar, there is a self service coffee and drinks area.

The Club CLE Buffet

The Club CLE Buffet

Like most “The Club” lounges, the buffet is a weak spot. There’s just not much here that looks appetizing. There’s a selection of salad and dips.

The Club CLE Buffet

Ending with a hot soup and a hot rice dish. So all in, pretty sad. Not something you’re going to make a meal out of, but that’s pretty much standard for “The Club.”

The Club CLE Views

The Club CLE View

The Club here at Cleveland does have great views of the runway and the gates that Delta uses in the B Concourse. It was winter when I visited so lots of snow out in the cold.

The Club CLE Bathroom

The Club CLE Bathroom

Might seem a little weird to note, but The Club here at CLE does have it’s own bathroom. Lots of little lounges don’t and you’d need to leave the lounge and find a bathroom in the terminal. So that’s a nice little feature.

The Club CLE Final Thoughts

The Club lounge here at Cleveland Hopkins is fine. If you want a spot to stop in for a free beer and to relax for 20-25 minutes it’s perfect. It’s especially enticing for people flying on Delta, The Club is right next to all of their gates. For anyone else, I wouldn’t walk a long distance to sit in The Club.

When I visited it wasn’t overcrowded so we were able to get a seat, the staff was friendly and I was able to get a nice local draft beer. The buffet on the other hand was pretty sad and not worth eating.
