For the final night of my trip to Québec, I’ll be staying at and reviewing the Embassy Suites. I have a flight out tomorrow and wanted to stay closer to the airport and more near to downtown Montreal. I finished my work for the week, but not early enough to catch a flight home so I chose the reasonably priced and well reviewed Embassy Suites and made the move.

I’ve been to Montreal a few times, but I’ve never stayed at this hotel. I have stayed in this area before, just down the street in fact. Montreal is a great city and is extremely easy to walk. Should be perfect for a nice dinner and sleep before heading to the airport. One thing to remember is driving downtown sucks, the Embassy Suites does have parking, but if you can skip the car, skip it.

Embassy Suites Montreal Location

Embassy Suites Montreal Location

The location of the Embassy Suites is perfect for Montreal. It’s just a few minute walk from Notre Dame and the riverfront. In the area are lots of bars and restaurants. It’s also just a short walk from several metro stations.

Embassy Suites Montreal Neighborhood

It was raining while I was in Montreal, but the neighborhood that the Embassy Suites is in is perfect. I love walkable cities.

Embassy Suites Montreal Lobby

Embassy Suites Montreal Lobby

The Embassy Suites Lobby is not very big, but I was greeted quickly and checked-in. I had parked on the street and was given access to the parking garage so after check in I moved my car. Again, I would not usually get a car for visiting Montreal.

Embassy Suites Montreal Lobby Bar

As this is an Embassy Suites, there is a free beverage available in the bar each evening. I decided to check it out before heading out for the evening.

Embassy Suites Room Review

Embassy Suites Montreal Room

I walked into the absolutely massive room here at the Embassy Suites in Montreal. I was honestly surprised at how big this room was. I don’t know if this is the standard suite, but this room is huge.

Embassy Suites Kitchenette

Embassy Suites Montreal Room Kitchenette

There’s a kitchen area, however no stove. It’s more like a wet bar than anything else as there’s also not any service ware like plates or glasses.

I did find it interesting that there is a dishwasher even if there are no dishes. Maybe it’s just a COVID thing, but I could also see them just not wanting them in the rooms.

Embassy Suites Montreal Room Kitchenette

There’s a full sized fridge and microwave. There’s even the cut out where a stove would go, makes me thing that during a previous renovation the stoves were removed.

Embassy Suites Living Room

There’s a sitting area that really feels like a living room.

Across from the sofa is a TV and the entrance into the bed room. Honestly if I lived in Montreal, I’d be glad if this was my apartment.

Near the window is a desk, fortunately I was done with work for the week so I didn’t get any use out of it.

Embassy Suites Bedroom

Embassy Suites Montreal Bed Room

One nice large king bed in my suite. Plenty of light fixtures, outlets, and of course an alarm clock.

Across from the bed is a small TV mounted on the wall. To the left is the living room area, to the right is the bathroom.

Embassy Suites Bathroom Review

Embassy Suites Montreal Bathroom

The bathroom here continues to be large. There’s a jetted tub near the sink.

But the shower stall was small. Not a big deal just thought it was funny to devote so much space to the tub that very few people will use. Yet opt for a very small shower that nearly everyone will use.

Embassy Suites Montreal View

This hotel was on the side of the building so not an amazing view of anything, it was also a little raining this evening making it look a little gloomy.

Embassy Suites Montreal Final Thoughts

What more could someone want out of a hotel. The Embassy Suites Montreal has everything, great location, huge rooms, clean, quiet, comfortable, and walkable. On any future trips to Montreal, I’d gladly stay here again.

I’m really just surprised at how large the rooms are, this suite was just massive. The small shower in the bathroom was an interesting choice, especially when the jetted tub was so large. The kitchenette was a really nice space and would make a great area for a small gathering.

Even the bar in the Embassy Suites was a nice place to enjoy a drink after working. But I love being able to walk to the bars and restaurants in the area. At the end of the day, yes, good hotel and perfect for me.
