Welcome to Milwaukee. I’ve stayed at this Hilton hotel several times and it’s a beautiful hotel, but the rooms are starting to show some age. The public areas are absolutely fantastic. So here’s a quick review.

In This Trip

1: GSP-ATL-MKE. Delta 737-900 Economy, MD90 First.

2: Hilton Milwaukee City Center

3: MKE-ATL-GSP: Delta MD88 and 737-900 Economy

I took this trip in early January, but they still had Christmas decorations up.

The entrance is beautiful. Lot’s of polished aluminum and brass.

Up the duel staircase into the lobby.

Lots of stone, polished metal, and beautiful ceilings.

I quickly checked in and this is the elevator lobby.

I absolutely love the art-deco style. This Hilton is solidly in that demographic.

This is the view of the room.

I was “upgraded” to a superior king.

The bed was comfortable and had plenty of outlets nearby.

TV and coffee station. I don’t much like the position of this, but it’s fine.

The bathrooms in this hotel are small. I’ve been here lots of times, all the regular rooms have very small bathrooms. It’s a hotel from the 30s, it’s just how it was.

They are more than nice enough. This hotel could use a refresh, but is perfectly serviceable for the cost.

Out near the elevators, there is a mail collection shoot.

It runs down to the ground floor where there is a collection point. I love this feature.

This really is a grand old hotel. I like to stay here when I’m in Milwaukee. A little less boring than usual, this is a nice hotel.
