On our way from Bangkok to Krabi(Thai Air Asia A320 Review) Val and I stopped into the Coral Executive lounge. We had a few minutes to kill before our flight and simply chose the closest lounge to our gate. There are nicer lounges in the Suvarnabhumi Airport BKK airport, but we went for convenience over luxury. Just a note, there are several “Coral” lounges here at BKK, this review is for the Coral Executive Lounge in Concourse A.
Bottom Line: The Coral Executive Lounge is small and somewhat crowded, but it was worth the visit. The buffet selection was surprisingly decent, but not what you’d call over the top. I’d visit the Coral Executive Lounge again, but only if it’s the closest thing to my departure.
Coral Executive Lounge Suvarnabhumi Bangkok Location

The Coral Executive Lounge is located in Concourse A. This is for domestic departures from BKK. If you’re not departing from Concourse A, you will not have access to this part of the airport.
Coral Executive Lounge Suvarnabhumi Bangkok Space

The Coral Executive Lounge is one large square space. It’s a little odd, it almost feels like this was a part of the terminal and they added temporary partitions. It just doesn’t feel that substantial.

For the most part, it’s just a small selection of tables and chairs. You can see the small bar area next to the entrance. It’s important to mention that there’s no bathroom in this lounge, you have to leave and return to use the ones in the terminal.
Coral Executive Lounge Suvarnabhumi Bangkok View

While there’s not a view of airplanes, there’s at least a view from the Coral lounge overlooking some gardens outside the airport.
Coral Executive Lounge Suvarnabhumi Bangkok Food and Drinks

Along the side wall, the Coral Lounge had a decent selection of hot and cold buffet items. There’s also a self service drink case for soft drinks.

Coral Executive Lounge Suvarnabhumi Bangkok Final Thoughts
The Coral Executive Lounge here in Concourse A at Suvarnabhumi Bangkok is fine. Nothing really special but if you have some time to wait before a domestic flight, it’s better than sitting at the gate.
Obviously you wouldn’t go out of your way to visit the Coral Executive Lounge. It’s just not worth the effort. The lounge space is fine, nothing remarkable. The buffet isn’t bad, several hot and cold options along with a bar for drinks. Just remember there’s no bathroom in the lounge.
