I’ve been to the SLC Airport Skyclub a few times, I did a quick partial review last year, but on our trip home from Alaska we had a little more time to kill so I figured I should do a full review of the Skyclub.
To start, the SLC Skyclub is brand new and absolutely huge. The whole Salt Lake City Airport is brand new, the old terminal was replaced with a new one during 2020. Note, the photos in this review were taken over 3 different visits so the lighting and food selections may vary.
Bottom Line:With Delta being the largest resident at SLC, the Skyclub is top notch. The SLC Skyclub has all the features you’d expect in a new built Delta lounge. Great bar, large buffet selection, and an outdoor Skydeck.
Anyway, let’s get into this Skyclub Review.
SLC Skyclub Location

The SLC Skyclub is located in the A Concourse near the Security Checkpoint. If you’re in the A Concourse, walk towards then past gate A25 and then through the large atrium. The Skyclub entrance is on the right hand side.

Check in is on the first floor, then there are escalators to the second floor where the Skyclub is located.
SLC Skyclub Seating and Space Layout

At the top of the escalators is the welcome area. There is a Delta help desk that can make flight changes also this is where you can add your name to the list for the shower rooms.

Walking into the SLC Skyclub is impressive. The space is absolutely huge. To the left is a buffet and bar along with a large amount of seating.

Straight ahead is a seating area with a great view of the SLC Airport and the mountains in the background.

To the right is another bar and buffet area. Behind those is more seating and my favorite part, the outdoor Skydeck.

Scatter through the SLC Skyclub are beverage stations that include coffee and soft drinks. I like the self service options so you don’t have to wait in the bar line just for a soda.

Looking back over the main area of the Skyclub shows the diversity of seating types. There are lounge chairs, bistro high top tables, low top tables, and bar seating. All very stylish.

The SLC Skyclub really is huge and it feels it. There’s just a ton of seating space of all different kinds. In the back you can see some personal pods where you can take a phone call without disturbing others.

We settled into some comfortable seats near a window. We got a few snacks along with a tea and coffee for breakfast.
SLC Skyclub Drink and Snacks

There are two buffets in the SLC Skyclub. Both are well stocked and included a few hot and cold items that can be made into a meal.

At dinner time I enjoyed this slider and lettuce wrap along with a beer.

Breakfast was ok, nothing amazing. I had a toasted English Muffin along with sausage and a quiche bite.
SLC Skyclub Skydeck

Here’s my favorite part of the SCL Skyclub, the outdoor Skydeck.

While the view is mostly of construction of the airport, in the background you can see the mountains and the planes.

This outdoor area is just such a nice place to sit and relax. I love outdoor lounges and this one is the best. AUS Skyclub has an area similar, but this whole club is just fantastic.
Delta SLC Skyclub Final Thoughts
I love this Skyclub. It has everything I’m looking for in an Airport lounge. The space is huge, well appointed, and gorgeous. The bars are well stocked and have friendly bar tenders. The buffets have decent snacks and with two locations, never felt crowded. The self service drink stations are a nice fast way to grab a drink.
The SLC Delta Lounge is easily my favorite Skyclub, it just has everything I want in an airport lounge. Especially the outdoor Skydeck, just such a pleasant place to relax before a flight. Sadly I don’t get to visit it very often, SLC just isn’t a place I frequent. I really should make an effort to visit the west more frequently.
