Welcome to the Embassy Suites Omaha La Vista. This Embassy Suites is not anywhere near downtown, but is near where I’ll be working this week. It’s also attached to a conference center so I assume that’s the main market. This area isn’t particularly exciting, but there are a few restaurants in the area. I was planning on staying here for 4 days, but due to my work schedule, I ended up here for only a single night. Anyway, let’s get into this Embassy Suites Omaha Review.

Embassy Suites Omaha La Vista Location

So the Embassy Suites Omaha La Vista Location isn’t amazing. It’s a freeway exit hotel on the outskirts of South West Omaha. You won’t be walking to any great bars or restaurants from here.

Embassy Suites Omaha La Vista Lobby

I walked into the Lobby and found a very spacious sitting area near the elevators. To the left is a coffee shop and the entrance to the conference center.

To the right are a few check in desks. I checked in and was told that unfortunately the evening open bar reception had already closed for the day, but would be available tomorrow.

Like many Embassy Suites there’s a large lobby atrium, this is where breakfast is served along with the evening drink offering.

The breakfast buffet is off to the left.

Embassy Suites Omaha La Vista King Suite Room Review

I walked into the king suite here at the Embassy Suites Omaha. The rooms are large and well outfitted, but not what I would consider modern.

There’s a small table in the kitchenette area.

The living room had a sofa, ottoman, and sitting chair. I wouldn’t call this modern, but it was at least comfortable.

The TV sat upon the desk with a chair. I didn’t need to use the desk, and I’m not sure how anyone would.

Embassy Suites Omaha La Vista King Bed Review

I had a single king bed in my room. I did find this bed very comfortable. There’s also a second TV across from the bed.

Embassy Suites Omaha La Vista Kitchenette Review

There’s a small bar area that I thing could be considered a kitchenette. It has a sink, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.

The Embassy Suites Omaha has Keurigs in the rooms. I’m really not sure if anyone likes the coffee that these make.

Embassy Suites Omaha La Vista Bathroom Review

The Bathroom can be accessed from either the bedroom or from the kitchenette area. The bathroom was large and stocked as you’d expect.

There was a stall shower and I like that much better than a tub combination, however the water here was terrible. It was the softest water I’ve ever felt, the soap would never wash off. I really don’t understand why people like soft water, it’s terrible.

Embassy Suites Omaha La Vista View

The view out over a cold and windy morning in Omaha. It was brutally cold while I was vising the Embassy Suites La Vista.

Embassy Suites Omaha La Vista Final Thoughts

This hotel was clean and quiet, just what I wanted for the few nights I was planning on being here. My trip was cut short but I did like the hotel. My one thing, and I just cannot get over it, is that this hotel’s water is just bad. I cannot stand soft water and this place was the worst.

I know it’s silly and dumb, but I’d avoid this place just because of the soft water. Maybe they were having issues while I was staying there, but I’m not sure. Anyway, There are other hotels in the area, perhaps I’ll try them first before staying here at the Embassy Suites Omaha again.
