Hotel Review: Townplace Suites Cookeville Tennessee. We’ll I’m heading back to Cookeville Tennessee this week for work. This time I’ll be staying at and reviewing the TownPlace Suites Cookeville. Cookville has no shortage of mid-tier hotels from the major brands. There’s also no shortage of chain restaurants in the area.
I picked the TownePlaces Suites for this week based on some reviews by my collogues who’ve been in the Cookeville area before. I’m glad I did, the Townplace Cookeville is a great hotel for a quick trip. Let’s get into the review.

TownPlace Suites Cookeville Tennessee Location

TownPlace Suites Cookeville Lobby and Check In

The entrance to the hotel is very modern, but it’s still a pretty generic recently built hotel.

I checked in at the front desk. I wish that Marriott would catch up with Hilton on the mobile check in front.

The lobby has lots of different seating areas. I didn’t really spend much time here, it’s a hotel lobby…
TownePlace Suites Cookeville Tennessee Room Review

Walking into the large suites here at the Towneplace is a nice experience. The rooms are large and clean.

The TV can swivel so that you can view from in bed or from the sofa.

TownePlace Suites Cookeville Tennessee Bathroom

The Towneplace bathroom is right off the bedroom area. Pretty standard 3 piece bathroom set.

It did have a stall style shower and I like those, however there seemed to be a hot water issue at the hotel. No matter what I just couldn’t get hot water, not cold, but just not hot.

The toilet did have a bidet. I don’t think I’ve seen that outside of Japan in a hotel.
TownePlace Suites Cookeville Tennessee Kitchenette

The Towneplace rooms have a nice little kitchenette. It’s very well equipped with a stove top, microwave, and cooktop.

There’s a full sized fridge here. Along with some door-side hooks. I like that hotels are starting to add hooks into the rooms, way more useful to me than a closet.

The kitchen was equipped with a full set of dishes and plates.

There’s also utensils and a few cooking tools.

An assortment of kitchen gadgets.

And a few pots and pans to be used on the cooktop. I was pretty impressed with this kitchen setup, I’d be more than happy to attempt a few meals here if needed.
TownePlace Suites Cookeville Tennessee Room View

Ok, so the view isn’t great. It’s a Sam’s parking lot. At least there wasn’t much road noise.
TownePlace Suites Cookeville Tennessee Breakfast

Like all Towneplace Suites, a free breakfast is included. They had a mix of hot and cold items. As I’ve mentioned in the past, I’m not a huge breakfast eater so I usually just had yoghurt or fruit.
TownePlace Suites Cookeville Tennessee Review Final Thoughts
The Towneplace Suites Cookeville is a nice place to stay if you’re in the Cookeville area. There’s nothing amazing about this hotel, but it is clean, quiet, and comfortable. I liked the Towneplace much better than the Hampton Inn I reviewed that’s just across the street. Not that the Towneplace is amazing or the Hampton Inn is bad, but I just liked the Marriott option better.

Another reason to love the Towneplace is that it’s very close to Toki Poke & Ramen, should you find the need for some takeout Ramen or Poke, definitely check Toki out.
Final thoughts, if I needed to travel to Cookeville again, I would gladly stay at the Towneplace again.
