Welcome to rainy GSP airport for a quick Delta review.

So I go to Milwaukee a few times per year. This is one of those trips. It’s pretty boring, but this is my trip up to Wisconsin.

Delta Boeing 737-900 Economy Review

My ride over to ATL this morning. I’m not a huge fan of these 737s, but they work.

I’m in seat 19A. These are an exit row seat with plenty of leg room. There is also power at each seat.

Personal entertainment in each seat.

Little arm rest at this seat. It doesn’t go back very far as it’s on the exit door. It’s a little uncomfortable.

Yep, still wet outside.

Soon we were on the way, it was right around sunrise.

very quickly we were above the clouds and on the way to ATL.

Very short flight. Usually less than 35 minutes in the air.

Very pretty day out.

Soon we landed in ATL. It turned into a very nice day.

ATL Airport Transfer

Into Concourse A. I had about 2 hours until my next flight in Concourse B.

The walk between the two concourses is very short. You can easily take the train, but if it’s not already in the station, walking is faster between these terminals. Farther out the distances get farther and the train is the way to go.

I had some time to kill, so I went to the Delta Skyclub to get a quick snack. Beautiful view.

Delta MD90 First Class Review

This is my ride up to MKE. A “Boeing” MD90. This plane is a later one to be built. It also wasn’t built in Seattle, like the 717, this MD90 was built in Long Beach.

This is seat 4A on the Delta MD90. Plenty of room, nice and quite, power at every seat, but no in-seat entertainment.

All loaded and ready to go.

We had a very quick taxi out to the runway.

Soon we are airborne and on the way to Milwaukee.

This was a beautiful day. Clear and very smooth flight.

Beautiful view of SDF airport and the UPS Worldport hub.

Super boring: banana, cheez-its, water.

Soon we were descending over Lake Michigan. Still a beautiful day.

We soon landed and I was very confused. Why does Tui have two 737s here in MKE. A little research and it turns out they are operating some seasonal charters from MKE to various resorts in Mexico.

We soon parked at the gate.

Finally I was in the terminal and on the way to the Lyft pickup area. Nice uneventful travel morning.
