I’ve been to Milwaukee a few times for work and I’ve reviewed several hotels here, but this week I decided to try out a new hotel for me. This trip I’ll be reviewing the Marriott Springhill Suites here in Downtown Milwaukee. I’m not sure why, but I’ve been staying at a more Marriotts than in the past, no real reason, just ended up that way. I chose this SpringHill in Milwaukee because the price was great and the reviews looked more than good enough for me.
The SpringHill Suites in Milwaukee was a great hotel. The rooms were large and clean. The location was perfect for my visit and the staff was very friendly. I enjoyed my stay and would gladly come back to the SpringHill Milwaukee. I like when I get to visit Milwaukee and this SpringHill is a great place to stay right in downtown.

SpringHill Suites Milwaukee Location
The SpringHill Suites Milwaukee is located right in downtown Milwaukee. It’s about one block South of Fiserv where the Milwaukee Bucks play. It’s just across the street from the Wisconsin Center too. In the area are plenty of good restaurants and bars. In the building is Doc’s BBQ, it’s honestly pretty good. Not amazing, but very solid.
SpringHill Suites Milwaukee Check In and Lobby
When I was in Milwaukee there was a decent snow storm and downtown looked pretty cool in the snow with the lights.
I walked in and checked in at the desk. I didn’t get a car for this trip so I didn’t use the valet.
I soon had my car and was into the elevator.
SpringHill Suites Milwaukee King Bed Room Review
I walked into the king room here at the SpringHill Milwaukee and I was really impressed with the room size. It was also very clean and well maintained.
Ahead on the right was a sofa sitting area. This room is really large and has a full size couch.
Right ahead in the room was the TV. It can swivel between the sitting area and the bed area.
To the left is the king bed.
The king bed at the SpringHill Milwaukee was comfortable and clean. Both sides of the bed had their own lamps and power to charge phones. There’s also an alarm clock but not as fun as some of the others I’ve seen.
Next to the sofa was a work desk. It was large and I did use it for work on this visit.
SpringHill Suites Milwaukee Bathroom Review
In continuing with the rest of the room, the bathroom here at the SpringHill Marriott is large too. It was also spotlessly clean.
SpringHill Suites Milwaukee Fridge Area
Near the door to the room was a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It’s nice to have these in the room, I didn’t use the microwave or coffee maker but the fridge was nice to keep drinks cold.

SpringHill Suites Milwaukee Breakfast Buffet
Being a SpringHill Suites, the hotel has a free breakfast buffet in the mornings. I’m not a big hotel breakfast person but it was good enough for a bowl of cereal or piece of fruit.
SpringHill Suites Milwaukee Final Thoughts
The SpringHill Suites might be my new favorite hotel in Milwaukee. It’s a great location right in the middle of downtown. The hotel is also very clean and comfortable. My king room was much larger than expected, especially for the location. The bars and restaurants in the area are good, it’s also a very walk-able part of town.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the SpringHill Suites Milwaukee again.
