For the next few days I’m going to be working in the Charlotte area. This is an area I’m familiar with as I’ve stayed here and reviewed a few hotels in this area. Today I’ll be staying at and reviewing the Hilton Garden Inn Ayrsley. I’ve stayed at this hotel before, it just predates Kinda Boring and so now I get to write a review of the Hilton Garden Inn.

I chose the Hilton Garden Inn Arysley because it’s close to my work site for the next few days. I’ve also stayed here before and enjoyed it enough so I figured why not. Hilton Garden Inns are usually more than nice enough for a few nights. This one is no exception. There are 3 other Hilton brand hotels in the immediate walking area of Arysley. The Hilton Garden is the middle of the pack when it comes to hotel class and price.

Hilton Garden Inn Arysley Location

As the name would imply, the Hilton Garden Inn Arysley Charlotte is in “The Town of Arysley.” What is Arysley? Well it’s a small planned development in the suburbs of Charlotte. It’s right off the I485 ring road around Charlotte.

The little Arysley development has a few hotels, lots of restaurants, office buildings, some entertainment venues, and apartments. It’s designed to be a walkable town area and while it does obviously feel planned and inorganic, it’s still much nicer than needing to drive everywhere.

Arysley is very walkable and the restaurant options are pretty good. There’s little shops along the street, and the cars driving seem to respect the pedestrians in the area. This area is also pretty close to where my work site is so it’s a great base for me this week.

Hilton Garden Inn Arysley Lobby and Check-in

The lobby features some sitting areas. These were nice outfitted and in the evenings there were a few people using this space to hangout and enjoy a drink from the bar.

The breakfast area is also in the lobby. I didn’t eat at the hotel, as I’m not a huge breakfast eater.

There are a few meeting type places in the lobby, not very private, but could be useful for someone.

After checking in I walked into my king room at the Hilton Garden Inn Arysley. The room was very clean and large.

The bed was comfortable and had plenty of power options on both sides. There’s also induvial reading lights along with an alarm clock.

Hilton Garden Inn Arysley Desk

There’s a desk by the window. I did get good use from here as I had plenty of work this week to handle.

Hilton Garden Inn Arysley TV

The TV stand on the desk along with a luggage rack that I used for my baggage. I drove here this week so just a duffle bag for me.

Hilton Garden Inn Arysley Fridge

The room also included a coffee machine, microwave, and mini-fridge. I really like when hotels included these options. I just wish they included some paper towels.

Hilton Garden Inn Arysley Closet

Next to the front door was a closet area that also included an iron and ironing board. I hung up my shirts right after taking these pictures.

Hilton Garden Inn Arysley Bathroom

Nothing amazing to report from the bathroom. It was clean and well stocked.

The shower was a tub style and while I prefer a shower with a glass door, this is just fine.

Hilton Garden Inn Arysley Room View

The view from my room was over Arysley Town. Obviously a manufactured town, but still better than a strip mall.

Hilton Garden Inn Arysley Final Thoughts

The Hilton Garden Inn here at Arysley is a good hotel. This isn’t the first time I’ve stayed here and it likely won’t be the last. The room was comfortable and clean, what more could you ask for from a mid market hotel.

Arysley Town is a little weird, it’s clearly very planned, but it’s very nice to walk to bars and restaurants. My recommendation would be “The Corner Bar.” They had good food and a good enough draught beer selection. If you want something a little more lively, “Piedmont Social House” has a cool patio and some outdoor games. “Saffron Indian Cuisine” was also a great place to grab a nice curry after work. And the best part is that all of them are within walking distance.

I would gladly say here at the Hilton Garden Inn Arysley again.
