We needed a quick hotel in Paris before our flight back to the States. Since we are flying home from Orly airport we decided to take Le Bus Direct from CDG-ORY. This was uneventful and even too boring.
But here’s the Novotel that is at the Orly airport. I chose this hotel because you can walk to the airport, it was only 90 Euro for the night, and looked more than adequate for our needs.

Here’s the room, pretty standard.

Nice big TV, small sofa, and table.

Pretty good bed with plenty of nearby outlets for charging devices.

This was under the bed and I have no clue what it is. It lifted the bed when I pulled the lever, maybe it’s so they can easily clean under the bed?

Modern bathroom.

This hotel was perfectly clean, quite, close, and cheap. Perfect stay for just the one night.
Right outside of the hotel is the walkway back to the airport.

The architecture of this was quite interesting to me. The slope of the stairs wasn’t linear. As you approached the top, the stairs become more shallow. It looks very nice.

They had nice ramps for luggage. This was you don’t have to carry your bag, just wheel it up next to the stairs. Not quite as good as the conveyors in the subways of Japan, but still, a great feature for an airport connector.

It was a gloomy day, but the bridge connector is covered so we stayed dry.

Moving sidewalks get us over the road the tram tracks quickly.

Finally back down the stairs and to the terminal. Door to Door was about 5 minutes. I would stay at this hotel again if I needed a quick overnight before or after a flight.

Nice boring stay at an airport hotel.
