This is the start of another pretty boring work trip. This is a standard work week for me. GSP-Somewhere, 3-4 nights in a hotel, then back home.
GSP Airport
I arrived at GSP about an hour before my flight, I took Lyft to the airport. I was quickly through security via PreCheck. It was a beautiful day so went outside instead of the Escape lounge.

GSP is unique in that there is a very nice outdoor waiting area after security. It’s right next to the taxi way and planes are landing and taking off just beyond that.

I waited until I watched my 717 ride land, then I went back into the terminal and up to the gate.

The gate was crowded as usual. But boarding was quickly accomplished.
Delta McDonald Douglas MD90 Economy Review (Exit Row)

I like the MD88/90/717 because of the large exit rows, 2+3 seating, and if I catch an upgrade, they are very quite upfront. They however are very noisy in the back near the engines, so I try to avoid those seats.

We soon were airborne and then 28 minutes later, we were in ATL. Often there is a wait to takeoff, because of the short flight time and timing into Atlanta, but not today.

My next flight was in about an hour, so I went to the Skyclub for a snack. No report of that today.
Delta Boeing 737-900 Economy Review (Exit Row)
My ride up to MKE was a 737-900. These aren’t my favorite plane, but the flight is only 2 hours, and they have personal TV.

I had an exit row, with decent leg room.

The exit rows have an headphone jack in the arm rest, I like this because then my headphone cord isn’t stretched, and it’s required to be used for take off and landing.

We were soon boarded and underway.

I watched a movie and soon enough we were in Milwaukee.

It was a cloudy day so no good pictures of the approach. All in, nice boring trip up to Milwaukee.

Next stop, Downtown Milwaukee DoubleTree
